This well modelled and beautifully patinated antique bronze sculpture depicts Buddha being protected during a storm by the serpent king Muchalinda whose seven heads rise to form a protective canopy over the deity. The sculpture stands well with no wobbles and the quality is very good. We think this sculpture has probably been set onto a stone
