The Music of my Bricks by Erin SweeneyThis book was made in response to Tim Belden's poem The Music of Bricks. I used the architecture outside of my studioa classic old New England brick church with huge windowsto inspire the piece. Utilizing Hedi Kyle's Chinese sewing box books in a myriad of materials, tied together with a kite string to represent the many projects that are often flapping in the wind between our two buildings.
