Very Old Carved Boot with Iron Nails, Presumed Pipe Tamper(Hard to photograph because that black paint absorbs all the light so I set it atop a block, which maybe helps a bit.) I believe this is quite an early carved boot American I believe, and earlyish 19th c. I would guess and I believe it was meant to function as a pipe tamper.
